As beautiful and revealing pregnancy can be for a woman it has it’s own risks and complications if it’s not treated properly. Normal pregnancy begins on the first day of your last menstrual cycle period and it lasts 40 weeks which are divided into three phases, the trimesters. Often women don’t have enough information to support their efforts during their audile, so below are a few tips to make life easier for the pregnant woman:

-Take the blood tests that are offered by the doctor to all pregnant women. These include anemia tests, blood type and other disorders, and also other tests for women with risk of abnormal pregnancy.

-Always go see a doctor after you find out that you are pregnant. Antenatal clinics can monitor your progress and you will be assisted by a doctor or midwife who will ask you to come to the clinic on a regular basis.

-To avoid morning sickness try to eat small meals often and have a snack by your bed every night, avoid food that’s fat and cooking smells that might make you sick

-Try to maintain a diet that’s balanced and healthy for your baby and develop variety in your eating habits and choose from the main groups of food: milk, fruits and vegetables, cereals, meat because as normal pregnancy progresses your calorie needs will increase by 200 calories a day in the last trimester, try to make those extra ones by eating fruits and vegetables .
